Now im all about being different but I LOVE MY LOUIS...ok im calm now...
But lately KREYSHAWN has started an uprising on us young folk...its her damn gucci gucci song! ITs a catchy tune that basicly disses luxury brands for being simple...or not ORIGINAL..."Basic bitches wear that shit so i dont even bother" she says.

While i understand what shes saying my problem is DONT QUOTE THE SONG WHEN YOU WOULD GET ALL OF THAT STUFF IF YOU HAD MONEY LIKE THAT. I personally love my louis..BUT IM NOT A SIMPLE BITCH!And now ppl are going to walk around quoting that song as an excuse for why they dont have louis gucci fendi versace ect......I CANT WITH MY GENERATION

If that song causes a direct decline in Louis Vuitton sales, there'll probably be a lawsuit soon.
Other than that, I've never been big on fashion anyway. Sure it's comfortable, but not worth the price (to me).

I love smart, funky, whimsical, and other fashions. I'm not much into wearing "brands" that show from the outside.

Fortunately, there's Crossroads Trading Company! Recycled fashion for pennies on the dollar! All in great shape.

YES YOU CAN with your generation. Yes you CAN say no to high priced luxury brands when you can settle for middlebrow just like the rest of us can. Or better yet, LOWBROW. Yes you CAN care about your credit and live within your means, have a savings account and pay for things that REALLY matter, like an education, a residence, or extra money in case of an emergency.

    Sears, anyone?

Notice they made no mention of hermes, ferragamo, zegna, alexander mcqueen, charvet etc. I do think gucci, fendi, dg, prada, burberry and louis vuitton etc are becoming trite, louis vuitton has even become downright tacky at times, at least here in south florida. They're really no longer designers in my eyes just more expensive brands which don't really warrant the markup.

Im not saying burn up your credit score, im saying lets not judge people who have luxury brand items when you know you secretly want it as well, I believe that you can be fresh in things that dont cost more than 50 dollars, just take the song for its true meaning and not a anthem that you yourself dont understand

    Haha you're cute!

I don't actually care for the song, I personally think she looks rather dodgy and hidious with all her tattoos and piercings.

I don't like LV and Gucci myself either though it's for Russians, Arabs and people from LA. They all like the bling bling.

I hate loui... i think it looks tacky. Anything with the brand name all over it is a no no.. and if rappers are rappin bout dem it means u should stay away! my 2 cents

And i agree with the guy on top.. here in south florida every girl and her mom have the same Loui purses.. unoriginal is the correct term. And a guy with a loui handbad is well.. icon_eek.gif Im talking about the brown ones with the lv all over it.. I did see kanye with a sick military one.. that one was cool.. pharell also had a nice one.. thats about it.. ramble on!

I've always wondered why blob-shaped women in sweatpants and flip-flops at the local Target even bother with lugging around a Louis Vuitton or Gucci purse--what it says to me is that they equate class with a brand and not with being classy themselves. It's just another commodification that people are willing to buy into.

Besides, true class isn't achieved through hanging big labels off of the flabby arms of quotidian soccer moms in minvans.
