Who Likes the Film 'Easy A'?

I saw Easy A on the plane to New York earlier this year and loved it, I'm not ashamed to admit that I still like high school teen flicks if they are witty and well-made, and I thought this one was great - I'd put it up against the likes of Mean Girls and Clueless.

Emma Stone is just perfect casting, you warm to her straight away and she does a great job at the comedy and at the emotion.

The supporting cast is great as well, especially her (adoptive) parents - played by Stanley Tucci and Patricia Clarkson, and there's eye candy in the form of Cam Gigandet and Penn Badgley.

I saw the movie two weeks ago, so it's still fresh in my mind. I kinda liked it cause it is comical the first half of the movie but on the second half there were a lot of cliches and scenes that are repeated in a bunch of movies of this type.
I agree that Emma Stone is perfect casting as well as Patricia Clarkson icon_smile.gif
In my point of view I think Mean Girls is way more original and it's a comedy you can watch over and over still laughing a loud without boring yourself easily icon_lol.gif

Call me crazy, but I thought there was a deeper meaning- something to learn from it. So I really liked it; thought it was intelligent.

I love that movie. Funniest movie I've seen in a while!!!

Comedy is hard to do in movie format... it rarely works for me. They will have funny moments and then draggggg (ie Bridesmaids).

Probably the funniest teen film since...Mean Girls (though I thought Jennifer's Body was funny as hell too). And Cam = dry eyes, can't stop looking.

Mostly enjoyed it until the end which was just lame and all too convenient... She got her guy and her reputation back with a snap of her fingers and everyone lived happily ever after...

I really liked the movie. And it's funny because I thought it would be just like any other teen flick but boy was I wrong. I laughed at a lot of parts and it really was a well written movie.

Movies like this are always enjoyable and hard to dislike; you don't have to really think, just laugh. Hands down my favorite 5 seconds of this movie are in the following clip, from :31 to :35. I literally LOL every time.
