Been on this site for a while now, and realized that due to me being "young" I don't get the time in the day to converse with someone that is ideal for me. I always get the stigma of being to young for someone. Not sure what the hell to do from here with this account I have. I like the forums and the guys on here, I just get no opportunity to see where things could go.

    Any advice for me?

It's for everybody. Whoever says you don't belong, just ignore them and block them. That's why that function is there.

Much of it has to do with your behavior and how you come across. There are a few that are older than you are and probably act younger...lol. If you are serious about your fitness, but want to get to know others in a reasonable way, I doubt if your age will work against you. I think all should be welcomed and awesome, young members make this site as well.

Glad you are here and welcome.

    Absolutely!

RJ is the perfect place for guys of all ages and for me, it's great to converse with many different age groups to share information (and learn more from guys like you).

As a matter of fact, one of the smartest and most athletic guys here is 19 and we chat a lot. On my buddy list and I sense a really great future for him!

Very true, and a few of the older ones act considerably younger than 19.

I don't think your age should work against you at all. It's all about how you come across. The only other comment is don't worry about conversing only with someone who is "ideal" for you. Conversing is not making a major commitment, and if you don't hold standards too strict, you might be surprised at the conversations and friendships that can ensue.

If you are looking to hook up, then I dont think you should have a problem. Being 19 is liquid gold to many.

Young guys hit on me all the time. I thought it's a pretty ballsy thing to do but apparently it's just normal for your generation. I think it's cute.

RJ is what you make of it. Depends on what it is you're on here for - whatever it is, you should be able to find it.

    HndsmKansan-

What you stated, and it does make since to judge off behavior and how someone comes across. Its when I come across as my self and gets me now where. I try being more respectful, that gets me no where either. I don't know, just not to many people on here are attracted to my type, which is perfectly fine because everyone has a preference.

I agree completely. There are a lot of younger guys on here that handle themselves in a way that doesn't invite others to take them seriously.
Otherwise, I think by handling yourself in a way that shows that you may be more mature, you're more likely to be more acknowledged. Age may come up in passing, but as for me, it usually doesn't shut down any conversations.
    Good luck!

You are 24 though, you have more going for you. i'm just hoping I get the same invested time I put into them, into me, far as getting to know them and such.

...Does this mean you are a racist; in-addition-to being an ageist?

Well let me say, had a come across a post from you in a thread, unless I viewed your profile, I never would have guessed you were 19 (I wouldn't have thought about it actually). Your "type" has no impact on whether I interact with you or anybody else. I would hope we are a big enough group here to welcome you and interact regardless of your age, "type" or anything else.

Sure it is. It's a normal site just like any other. If other dudes here aren't trying to hit you up then consider it their loss and move on. Worst thing you can do is try to impress someone. Just be yourself and someone will definitely come your way. Don't waste your time on those who aren't willing to meet you half way.

You'll be fine and I'm sure you'll find whatever or whoever you are looking for.

You don't need advice. You just need a V8. LOL.
