The seventh annual EuroGay Cup Sailing Regatta will be held in Brighton from 9-10 June 2007.
Sponsored by Barclays, the event is organised by GUST (Gay UK Sailing Team) who have won the event twice previously and hosted by SailnetUK using their fleet of Sigma 8 Yachts based at Brighton Marina. The regatta is expected to attract 60 competitors with teams already registered from the UK, France, Netherlands and Germany.
GUST is affiliated to the UK recreational sailing group, The Sailing & Cruising Association (www.gaysailing.org.uk) with over 380 members. The S&CA will be organising a boat rally alongside the event as well as participating in the Gala dinner for competitors and other LGBT sailors.
