That's weird. I'll always remember the ghetto version.

I never was too excited about Disney films as a kid though.

Disney movies were a staple when I was a kid. I still watch new CG Disney films since their humor is often targeted toward an adult audience. icon_razz.gif

I think that identity tag has been around for several years. This isn't the first time I've seen it (I haven't seen enchahnted.) Also, there's different tags depending on the division or distribution of the movie (e.g. Pixar uses a 3D animated version of the 'ghetto' version.)

    muttskins: That was hysterical.

I don't think that the animator is going to get a job a Pixar with that on their demo reel. However Dreamworks might....

muttskins, that was s-o-o funny. I wonder if there will be an animated version of FOX--with the O replaced by a U...LOL

Anyway, that particular Disney logo isn't that new but has been around 2 years now, I see poor Tinkerbell got the pink slip in every version. icon_sad.gif

BTW, Enchanted is hilarious! It's like a real life Cinderella--Snow White--Sleeping Beauty all rolled into one!

I agree, no way to destroy the magic like working there. Although i still do admire Walt and what he tried to do. They've taken his vision, and are raping it for every penny they can get out of it.

I worked for them and loved it - though I was only there for half a year. Probably not the highest paying job you can get, but I never felt bothered to have to go to work.

The only thing good about Disney is there gay themed shows. The parades and shows. The shows are geared towards children yet they have guys in basically underwear jumping and flying across stage. Too bad I wasnt out then. There were so many gay guys to choose from....but in the end they still treated us like slaves. Worst internship ever!!!!

I just hope Disney goes back to making movies like they use to. Everything after the Lion King seemed under them.. Everything today is way to P.C.

Some one broguht up a good point thou. Something about the Disney Princess' never have mom's just step mom's. What's up with that? Guess the Divorce rate in the Disney Rhelm is giving the one in North America a run for its money...icon_neutral.gif

Me too. That's how I felt when I first saw that. They also changed the Castle. I thinks thats Cinderella's Castle. The old logo used Sleeping Beauty's Castle.

And... I need to stop lol.

Yeah I guess your right Caslon. icon_lol.gif

I worked there and happened to love it. It was one of the best jobs I've ever had actually. But, I didn't work in the parks, I worked designing the parks (and resorts).

As far as the new logo goes, I like it a lot. But, I liked the "ghetto" old one too. he he!! I have to say I'm quite obsessed with Disney though. So, there aren't many things I don't like - except putting chain stores and restaurants all over their parks now. icon_smile.gif

I've never been to Disney World. Does it only have childrens rides? Or are there Thrill rides for adults?

There are a few thrill rides at disney, but for big coasters you need to go a couple miles up the freeway to universal's islands of adventure.

Disney's rides while thrilling are also family friendly, so they put a story into also. That being said, tower of terror, rock'n roller coaster, expedition everest, and mission space are all great thrill rides, they're just not the seven inversion, giant drops that you get at six flags.
I still love the old classics like haunted mansion and pirates though too.
As an adult, you'll have fun. and there are rides that are definitely not kiddie rides.
Plus they have a club with a revolving dance floor, which gets more intersting later in the evening after several drinks.
