It reminds me of something Marylin Mason would do. Does anyone else get that impression of it?

    maybe a light heartedversion yes.

Im proud she's learned to move a bit beter, more in line with her dancers.

And the colour/happiness was a bit un manson, but yes I see where you are comming from.

Just another in the line of self-righteous songs from this album. I thought it was awful.

i can kind of see the manson vibe. but really there's very little that she could do that would actually surprise me anymore.

I liked it. Kinda dark, but loved all the different symbolism for love in it!

yeah the intro reminds me a lot of marilyn mansons 'the dope show', and the rest is kind of like 'the beautiful people' video

I can see the Manson vibe... especially some of the twitchy visuals that are similar to the "Beautiful People" video.

But as old-school goth and industrial fan, I have to point out that Marilyn Manson never did anything that Bowie and Alien Sex Fiend and Thrill Kill Kult and NIN did before him. He's a far bigger copy-cat than Gaga!

It reeked of Marilyn Manson, which is why it felt weird for me to watch the video. The music didn't match the visuals, but I'm not really surprised by that. I think she cited him as a source of inspiration early on as well as Madonna (who oddly enough has been associated with Marilyn's art movement, the Celebritarian Corporation).

I don't like the song that much either, but I actually liked the vid. There's so much going on, pretty weird stuff, but you can see the concept in it: He gave her life. Be it that she is a mermaid who needs water or that she is Frankenstein's monster.

And she actually SMILED in this video! First time ever?
