Well, duh! Of course it's gonna suck.
I've never done those programs, but when I first started working out when I was 275 lbs, I hated high intensity cardio with a passion. Over time, as I dropped the weight and got into better shape, I got acclimated to it. Now I enjoy the high intensity. At my last MTB race, my average heart rate was 180 bpm during a 9 mile sprint. And I was photographed crossing the finish line with a smile on my face......but I wasn't really smiling.
Not sure what your experience level is, but maybe you need to build into it. If Jillian in the video is saying you need to jump in the air waving your hand and legs around for 3 minutes, but can only last for about 30 seconds. That's ok. Do 30 seconds. Next time shoot for 45 seconds...then a minute....and so forth until you can keep up. I probably sound like an idiot because I haven't done these programs, but am sharing what I do with my bike riding.
