As for the bladder-challenged Depardieu, I confess to viewing this in a personal light. I'm dealing with bladder & prostate problems myself right now, hope I won't be pissing myself on my next plane flight. But even more vainly, we're both about the same age. Jolts me into realizing how really old I look, even if I can't see it with my own eyes.

Aug 18, 2011 8:13 PM GMTI once had that happen to me on camera. I was reading the news, but fortunately for a local TV cable feed that had a tape delay, not live.
My friend was the FM (Floor Manager) that day, the guy who threw me my cues from off-camera to let me know that I was recording. We went into a commercial break, and I was waiting for him to give me the countdown for the next segment.
Instead, when we were down to less than 5 seconds, unknown to me, he said to me: "Bob! You've got something hanging from your nose!" I promptly stuck my finger into my nostril, and at that moment saw myself on the live monitor in the studio, my finger up my nose.
Everybody broke up -- the camera operators, the sound people, the grips, everybody in the studio. I swore I could hear the laughter coming out of the control room. He should have gotten in trouble for that, but we were kinda laid back, and the tape was backed up and we did a running edit.
Unfortunately I couldn't go on. Every time I got my real cue I started to giggle. We had to try 6 times before I finally calmed down, and even then you could see me suppressing a grin. Yeah, once you get the giggles it can be a challenge. I wonder if my giggles were as gay as Anderson's? -
