For me it's "Young Professional", "Str8 acting" ,"Young bul" (what the fuck does this even mean?).

Any words you guys hate seeing in profiles?

    Thats like my entire profile...

Mine is down to earth, drama free, NO FEMS NO FATTIES, no blacks, no asians, no latinos, no whites, etc.

Anything that cuts someone off because of their shape, age, weight, race, or height is a strike against me. No offense to them, but there not dating, there shopping for a bf!

Oddly, a total turn-off is when someone says he is good-looking.

Even more odd is when I get messages (not here, on Gay Romeo) from guys who say they are looking for someone "young and good-looking". I have to immediately point out that I am neither young or good-looking (thinking, so why are they writing to me anyway, if they are supposedly so stringent?).

I note a lot of guys aged, say, 35, who write they are looking for someone 18-34!

    All of this....

And things like "normal, down-to-earth, attitude-free" etc... in practice they're usually not like this if they say so anyway... or any other "demands" on the person that is looking at them...

Just once I want to see a profile:

Extremely superficial, love the drama, I will keep it interesting and stressful the whole time. High maintenance girl right here!

"black a plus" (or is it a negative)
"weakness for latin" (weakness is true)
"____ to the front of the line" (line? Get over yourself)
"nine inches or more" (gaping hole is that loose, eh?)
"must have ___" (the only thing I MUST have is oxygen, food and sleep)

I've promised myself never to publicly admit the huge number of profile word/phrases that turn me off. I've written them up on my pooter to prevent me from sharing them. If people saw how large it was, I'd never get a date the rest of my life.

    :/

So... I strongly encourage others to, uh, moderate their responses to this thread.

That is the best definition ever of what modern dating has turned into. It's like everyone walks around with a list in their back pocket.

Major turn off for me is to get flattering mail from or be hotlisted a hot, younger guy and upon visiting his profile afterwards finding something like "don't talk to me if you're over 30" Or I'm only attracted to guys my age" Hey that's fine with me, but I'm not flattered by your hotlisting "exception" either.

Also I should point out, in this area "Young Professional" really means

"I think my job is more important than what it really is, I live outside my means, mommy and daddy help me pay my bills, and I'm going to look down on you because you don't make as much money as I perceive myself making"

I know I sound like a dick, but I highly doubt I could date a guy with an MBA and suit and tie job, Not in Philly anyway, bunchafuckindickbags.

Its why I dont date online anymore, because no one really dates or takes things like personality or presence into account...

"Ask me". I don't need to see a credit report and CV, but it'd be nice to get at least some idea of what a guy has to offer.

This one makes me laugh, because there are SO MANY PEOPLE who put "discrete" down instead. Um, discrete from what?
