This is classic Ted Nugent. He is doing a concert in the belly of the beast tonight (peoples republic of madison wisconsin) and he holds nothing back on how he feels about the state, the country, the president and being an american. it runs about 30 minutes.

Yes. A tired rocker who gives the finger to female pundit on Larry King is who you should all elevate as your perfect American.

Just remember, we have Springsteen and nearly every other actual rock star on our side. icon_lol.gif

Springsteen is a hard core leftist, which is never stopped the right from trying to appropriate him, including using the anti-war "Born int eh USA" as his Reagan's theme song.

Is this the same Ted Nugent that took up with a 17 year old in Hawaii back in the 70s and because he couldn't marry her, became her legal guardian?

The Ted Nugent who publicly declares homosexuality morally wrong?

From my understanding from a lot of family up in Michigan where he spends a lot of time, he is little more than a loud vulgar mouthed extremist militia type that most 'Michiganders' wish would just shut up or go away.

Recently he and Ms Palin teamed up for a photo op, What a pic !!! Not sure which one of those two dragged the other down most, whether he or she. Hell of a pair, the self proclaimed Christian mouthpiece for the TBaggers, teaming up with about the worst example of a disrespectful womanizer who is anything but god fearing. They'd make great bedfellows !! LOL !!!

This has-been bellowing about God, Guns, Gays and Country is some sort of role model? What stupid rah-rah flag waving dipshit listens to anything Ted Nugent has to say? What, wasn't Mike Huckabee available?

Really? That's what it takes to win your respect?

I think it's funny when people talk about hunting and how much it makes someone a man, especially when they shoot something from half a mile away and then crow about how in touch they are with nature.

I think that to get real credit for killing a deer or a bear or a moose, you need to do it with your bare hands. Heck, I'll you can even use a sharpened rock. Unless whatever you're hunting gets to use weapons, it's only fair that you don't either.

No offense, jock_1, but you need to find new heroes.

People like Ted Nugent are the ones who threw out words like "treason" and "traitors" when Americans voiced their criticism of President Dubya. Their idea of what it means to be an American is that you hold the same beliefs they do.

I saw Ted Nugent in concert in 1978. Ah...the gold old days of high school. Other than remembering those fun times, I really don't care what he has to say now. I don't put as much stock in what he says as others do. He made his fortune from a song called Catch Scratch Fever, after all. But, in 1977 I can make that pussy purr on radio was pretty damn rebellious.

And the irony of doing that song live WITH Mike Huckabee (Southern Baptist Minister) on Huckabee's show. Skip to about 5:45
