I don't think there's enough detail in this one though at the moment...you'd need an artist to bring a lot of depth to it (and colour). The two tone (black on skin, no shading) is too harsh for large pieces. And even as smaller pieces two-tone can come off looking like a prison tat if the ink is even slightly heavy. My two bits.

As for the symbology in it for me, the Tree of Life captures my Judaeo-Christian roots while Yggdrasil captures my Nordic/Germanic roots, among many others (no pun intended).
And the two ideas are loosely related - the Tree of Life representing eternal life, and Yggdrasil representing eternity itself (the World Tree) connecting everyone and everything together.
