Former GOP Treasury official calls Rick Perry an "idiot."

AND he attributes the economic recession to former president DUBYA and the Republican Party.

OP"He [Obama] has had open seats on the fed almost his entire presidency and I think that this sends a signal that he just doesn't care very much about what the fed does," Bartlett said
    .

http://theimpolitic.blogspot.com/2011/08/um-bruce-arent-you-forgetting-something.htmlWhat he fails to mention is the GOPers have been blocking Obama's nominees for the Board since day one. Maybe he forgot about Peter Diamond who finally withdrew his name after being held in GOP limbo for over 14 months?

Peter Diamond, the Economics Nobel Prize winner in 2010, wrote in his op-ed

http://www.nytimes.com/2011/06/06/opinion/06diamond.html?_r=2&hp“Does Dr. Diamond have any experience in conducting monetary policy? No,” [GOP Senator Richard Shelby] said in March. “His academic work has been on pensions and labor market theory.”...Understanding the labor market — and the process by which workers and jobs come together and separate — is critical to devising an effective monetary policy.
    ...
Analytical expertise is needed to accomplish this, to make government more effective and efficient. Skilled analytical thinking should not be drowned out by mistaken, ideologically driven views that more is always better or less is always better. I had hoped to bring some of my own expertise and experience to the Fed. Now I hope someone else can.

WELL, NOW THAT I KNOW ALL OF THIS, I WON'T EVER VOTE FOR GEORGE W. BUSH FOR PRESIDENT AGAIN, NOR WILL I VOTE FOR PERRY BECAUSE SOMEBODY CALLED HIM AN IDIOT, SO THAT DISQUALIFIES HIM IN MY BOOK. THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR POSTING THIS VERY INFORMATIVE INFORMATION.

And will you also not vote, therefore, for someone who advocates the same economic theories and policies as Dubya and the 94-06 Congressional GOP? You know, like Rick Perry?

The GOP changed radically in the 94-06 period. They went from fiscal conservative (they actually effected significant financial reforms in the Federal government in the Gingrich years), to fiscal liberal under Hastert / Boehner.

I'd vote for an empty ketchup bottle over Obama in 2012.

It's nice to see that you finally admit your afflicted with Obama Derangement Syndrome.

I can understand how people of the left need to sprout such things. We, know, we know it helps you feel better over current situations of leading members of your side, and their failures present and past. You dear brothers half and full, we know you don't wont to see how they( the people of the left) wasted their last vote, and the fact America now is in need of a change, and not another term for this president.; but.....how things could of been even worse with Chilery at the helm..
