Believe it or not, trying too hard in the beginning can backfire quite easily. Most people feel uncomfortable when you put forth too much effort. Instead of it making them feel special, it often times makes them feel inadequate. Concentrate less on making things go perfectly, and more on paying attention to your date. Listening is one of the greatest aphrodisiacs.

Dates don't have to be super elaborate or anything to me. I basically want to do something that gives us a chance to talk and get to know one another.

I think a nice afternoon or evening at the park is a good idea. Lay down a blanket and enjoy the weather. Man I need to get me some dates in the next couple months when the weather is great!

you bring up good points. Thanks guys. I was merely looking for some ideas because i know relationships tend to get stuck in routines from my personal experience. I dont want to do run of the mill stuff. i want to keep doing interesting and different things that we can enjoy together!

You're not looking for creative ideas; and IF your dream date happens, you didn't put a damn bit of thought into it. Instead, you asked for other people's creative ideas.

I've got plenty ideas for a date, but I'm not sharing my creative ideas with someone who's too lazy to think up his own. icon_wink.gif

my date took me to "Painting with a Twist"

Haha I got you GV. Let's chat soon dude, it's been a while.

But I had a really great date (mainly thanks to the weather and of course the dude I was with) a while back, where all we did was just walk and talk, granted it was on an amazingly beautiful beach at sunset.

Like GreenHopper was saying, you just have to hang out with someone for a relationship to really work out. You should want him to like you for YOU, not with the settings in which you are having the date. If he likes you, ANY DATE no matter what it is, should be fun.

It's all about being in each others company and enjoying it icon_smile.gif
