    Hey boys,

Headed to Montreal on Wednesday for 24 hours. I'll have a bit of down time. Any recommendations and must-sees?

Also, I plan on going out Wednesday night in Gay Village. Any recommendations? Looking for somewhere young, safe and fun-- also, hopefully not too loud so I can meet people.

(If you happen to be around my age and maybe interested in grabbing a drink, I might be down....icon_biggrin.gif)

    Let me know.

Montreal is full of parties all summer long, specific places you can go to

gay clubs: Sky(better on fridays), Unity(better on saturday), Parkin(better on Mondays), Mado drag show(better on Tuesdays)
fireworks competition every saturday 10:30 near Jaques Cartier bridge
check Jean Drapeau Park theres always something going on there like Picnik Electronik.

There are always a whole bunch of festivals too so just grab a couple of mags as soon as you get there, you wont get bored.

i'd take a walk through Old Montreal starting from its west end part.
As you finish in the eastern part, you're just a few minutes away from the Village.
If you got a smartphone, it'll guide you .
Then you can stroll down Ste-Catherine which is still closed to cars till next month.
As Charlitos suggested , you can try some of the clubs, but Wednesday is kind of the worst night . So is Tuesday unless you're into drag shows .
There are various coffee shops, restaurants . I have no clue as to what kind of crowd you'll hit . There are still tourists but the student crowd is kind of back in school and probably low on budget , so are they going out much? dunno .

If i were you , i wouldn't bother much with the Village except for a walk through and a coffee . On a Wednesday you'll probably find it boring.
Best would be for you to meet some guy around your age and go for a drink . ;)
