I am scared of moths, sharks and scorpions. Fortunately I don't encounter sharks and scorpions in my daily life! Moths are another story - if a big moth flies near me I have to run away!

I also hate spiders, I wouldn't say I'm scared of them in the same way, I just don't want them around me, they are just gross.

I hate most flying insects in fact, especially flies and wasps. I kill them whenever I get the chance - I have this electrified tennis racket thing to swipe them with and it sends electricity through their disgusting bodies and fries them.

There was a huge hornet on my window at work this morning, just sat there, and now it has gone. I preferred it when I knew where it was!!

That's so mean, I love moths. I love looking at them really closely so I can see the scales on their wings and their faces in close detail.

I really hate cockroaches. Not all cockroaches, just the common American and Australian ones. There's just something about them that really puts me off. Especially when they fly clumsily at you. Their creepy transparent wings buzzing and flapping.

See, scorpions are just HORRIBLE things. I think they are just evil. I see the pic of that spider and think "Ugh, gross." but not that bothered.

I see the scorpion and I literally physically shuddered. They just aren't right. I wish they didn't exist!!

Oh yeah cockroaches are pretty gross too. I don't hate all bugs but actually when you think of it a lot of them are disgusting.

Honestly moths are just evil. They can smell fear. They go for me. I hate their fat fuzzy bodies and their dusty wings. Tiny ones I don't mind, but anything bigger than about 1.5cm I am scared of.

Really? I find most bugs beautiful and interesting. There are only a handful that make my skin crawl.

Oh don't get me wrong, I find a lot of them fascinating too, and I like watching nature programmes about them and their 'secret' lives, I always used to poke around the garden catching bugs as a child. It's mainly ones that invade my personal space that I take issue with!

Lucky you're not like Mushizo from Ninja Scroll. Wasps live in this hive on his back. Can you imagine the sensation of hundreds of wasps burrowing, buzzing and mating inside your flesh?

A wasp was always "an enemy" when I was growing up, mainly because we'd have them always trying to build a nest in the barn after it was built.
After I got older, I was always chasing them out of my office in my barn, but I never wanted them bothering my horses. One year I had a bumble bee nest in the ground next to my horses feeder. That was loads of fun...

The robin that keeps shitting on my windshield. That's one reason I'm moving to a house with a garage.

How do I know it's a robin? Because I watch it hatch on my neighbor's door decoration (some sort of bouquet with a basket in it), and the nesting mom invariably scared me half to death when she flies away when I'm looking for my keys.

I hate some of you guys.... I went in here because I really like Pure, but I cant read the thread because you posted close up pictures of spiders and scorpions, both of which scare me.

I hate spiders. They have scary little faces with pincers and a bunch of beady eyes..... just writing that gives me heebyjeebies.

The only issue I really have had with spiders was seeing the results of being bitten by the "Brown recluse" spider... what a horror. A woman in an adjacent office had a horrible time. I think I was uncomfortable with laying around on the floor for several months after seeing what she went through.

What Creatures scare you or you just hate?

Anything that can eat me outright, or imperil my health in some way. Wasps have been mentioned, and every time I'm stung (which has been multiple times over the years) my reaction becomes more severe, now approaching anaphylaxis. If I were to be stung today it would likely become a 911 emergency.

Oddly I get nothing more than moderate pain and local redness from bee stings, which I've also had a number of times. And so I generally ignore non-aggressive bees, while I'll steer clear of wasps & hornets.

I also avoid small, sharp-toothed and unpredictable animals, especially those in the wild, for fear of rabies or other infection. I once almost lost an index finger to infection from an ordinary house cat bite (the cat had trapped itself and was in pain, and didn't understand I was trying to rescue it, though I'm still friendly with cats today in ordinary circumstances).

Coyotes would be my first answer. When I lived in Arizona, I had them follow and chase my dogs - even grabbing one by the tail trying to tackle him. Once the dogs and I were running (I was on my bike) and the coyotes (3) tried to get one of the dogs and literally followed us home - just feet behind us. I was truly scared to the point of being cold with sweat. So my answer is coyotes.

Coiled snakes that lived under my bed when I was a kid, making me jump from FEET out in order to find safety under my covers. I'm pretty sure, they lived with alligators and bigfoot.
