I have had a lot of problems with tendonitis in my forearm. Granted, I haven't done anything about it, but still... that's not the point.

What works best? Ice, NSAIDS, lowering the weights.... anyone successfully get over tendonitis?

You may need an ergonomic mouse, keyboard, chair -- or at least to adjust the chair you have. Even if issues like that didn't cause the problem, they're most likely aggravating it now.

Having an HR person come check out and adjust the angle of my chair, plus switching to an ergonomic mouse, cleared up elbow tendonitis for me. The pain was dramatically reduced almost immediately and within 4-6 weeks I was back to normal; in the meantime switching to a reverse grip on rows helped avoid aggravating it at the gym.

I'm still suffering with it. My friends a chiropractor and she's been treating it. She used an ultrasound on my elbow to reduce the inflamation and i will be seeing her again to try some other methods. She also advised me to make some adjustments to my work station. I have a horrible desk at work.

My advice, definitely go see a chiropractor or physiotherapist it will really help

I can tell you one thing I know for sure......complete rest will only make it worse. Drastically reduce the weight you're using until the pain subsides and increase the reps to something like 15. Use baby weights if you have to but don't make the mistake of total rest.
