Well, I don't make predictions because we're very superstitious over here, but that was a pretty pitiful game on both ends. James looked really off today, but so did Pierce/Allen so that's a wash. I think C's team defense will be tough to beat. They need to do a better job of attacking the basket, drawing fouls, limiting turnovers. Turnovers don't bother me if you're being aggressive but they were just sloppy tonight. Those Euros can be a real pain in the ass.

Cavs in 6. As for the rest of the playoffs... I'm not sure, but the Lakers are going to come out on top.

I love it...An actual chain about sports from guys who know what they're talkin' about...

Any of you guys show up in SF/Bay area, first round of beers at the sports bar on me...

Can't believe LeBron blew two layups at the end last night, but the Celtics won't get that lucky again....

Great game 1....Hoping the series is this good.

As for the Hornets - I'm an ACC guy (Duke) and I watch Chris Paul all the time and had no idea he'd be this good in the NBA, but I'm loving it..

I'm a believer in the celtics. They learned in Atlanta that you should never give ur opponent any hope of winning.. So they'll be all business concerning this series against the cavs..

Plus Ray Allen will burry them with threes.. let it rain

I love Ray Allen as much as the next guy....Saw him at at Golf amateur event in Tahoe a few years ago and the guy is SKINNY...Must have a 26 inch waist...

However, Ray's line last night...

37.08 minutes
0-4 FG
0-3 3Pt's
0-0 FT's
0 OR's
4 DR's
1 Assist
4 Turnovers
0 Steals
0 Blocked Shots
1 Personal Foul
0 Points....YES 0 Points....

The fact the Celtics won with 0 from Ray is amazing, but he's gotta score. Garnett had 28, Rondo 15.

Paul Pierce:

29:08 minutes
2-14 FG's
0-3 3's
0-0 FT's
1 OR
4 DR's
4 Assists
6 Turnovers
0 Steals
0 BShots
3 Personal Fouls
4 Points...4 POINTS!!!!

How did the Celtics win? 13 points from the old reliable - Sam Cassell...

Game 2 will be a WAR!

Celtics all the way. I was at the game last night. They had so much energy. They shut down Lebron "crybaby" James.
