I just cannot say enough about the P90X program. I'm on my second go-round of the program, and am on Day #155 today (with some time off here and there for work travel, vacation, etc.).

Took some photos (as they suggest to do every once in a while) and I was pretty amazed at how I've transformed from early January to now. Heck, if an unable-to-gain-any-muscle-mass kind of guy like me can do it, anyone can! I have gotten several friends and relatives to get into the program.

This one is me at Day 1 (upper left), Day 59 (upper right), Day 91 (lower left) and Day 155 (lower right)

Thanks for all the kind words and support, guys! It means a lot. icon_biggrin.gif

TroyAthlete, I have been going back and forth as to whether to try Insanity next or P90X2, which is supposed to be released in the next month or so. I have friends doing Insanity and they like it a lot, but I've heard it's more of a cardio/toning sort of result. I don't have a lot of problem keeping weight off, so I'm hoping for something that will help me add some more muscle mass, and it seems like P90X2 might do that. Or am I off base on Insanity?

I finished Insanity a few weeks ago. That program definitely has the potential to get you ripped but you might lose some muscle mass in the process. I know I did. Insanity seemed to me to be a harder program than P90X as far as intensity goes. I mean it was just kind of balls to the wall from the very start to the end and a matter of trying to keep up. So if you're looking for a challenge or tryng to get leaner or cut up, I recommend it. But if you're trying to maintain or increase muscle mass it probably isn't a good choice for you.

Cool, thanks for the input, Sashaman.

Oh, and as an aside to the before/after pic, I think the beard helps a whole hell of a lot, too! Can't believe I waited so long to try growing one. ;-)
