Kinda surprising given the story comes from the USA Today...

MGM wants to implode 27-story hotel that never opened

MGM Resorts International wants to implode a new 26-story hotel in downtown Las Vegas that has been plagued by construction and structural problems before it has even opened, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports.

Unlike the Sands hotel, which was a Las Vegas landmark for decades before it was torn down, the Harmon Tower has never had a single guest.

Typos and other errors are going to happen more and more in a world with less 'hands on' people.

No copy editor scanning over type set by hand to proof it.

Just click a button on your PC and it spell checks...and lets grammar and sentence structure slide by.

Expect to see more of it.

Back in the old days of comicdom an Unprize was awarded to the individual who did not point out the error for pointing-out sake, but offered a plausible reason why it was not, in fact, an error. Here goes:

MGM Resorts International has its hands full, now forced to implode TWO buildings that have never opened nor seen a guest. One, a 26-story, and another a 27-story. MGM hopes the trend can continue with it's unventilated 28-story and its unstaffed 29-story hotels. No word yet on the plans for their unvaleted 30-story.
