Okay so there is this cowboy guy that is running as a Democrat for the Senate in Nebraska. Check out the story here:

    http://www.dailykos.com/storyonly/2008/5/6/15175/91314/370/510158

Why do I bring this up? Because he's ALL manly and hunky and OMG I got a crush on him he literally takes my breath away!!!! LOL. I've never felt like this for a politician ... and I LOVE to talk politics and with this guy is like I'm getting two for the price of one ... have you seen this guy???!!!! What other politician do you think is as hot as him?

Anyway, go to that website: http://www.dailykos.com/storyonly/2008/5/6/15175/91314/370/510158 to check out his picture.

I first heard of him a while back when his campaign was soliciting input for his logo, graphics, etc., for his website and literature. My suggestion: no logo, no graphics, no text even. Just that gorgeous face in full color, tight shot filling the frame, and nothing else. Photos are too expensive to mass produce, I was told.

    Talk about McDreamy!

I've been following his campaign for awhile (mostly because I lived in Nebraska until a month ago). Very well run campaign, playing off of the Jim Esch model - young guy, Democrat, focusing on candidness, stylish and web-savvy. Interesting to see a Democrat attract attention in rural Nebraska, one of the most red statey of areas.

Honest question: While Kleeb clearly has some substance, do you think he's garnering attention / doing as well as he is situationally because of his substance or because he's attractive and humans naturally respond to that?

Pretty obvious that they're pushing the attractive politician angle, although he seems to have some political attributes too.

You should see Kleeb's list of endorsements from grassroots democratic groups. His was the first house campaign I ever donated to in 2006 and it will be my first senate donation this year. I don't even live in Nebraska.

Being hot as hell doesn't hurt none either.

That's why I like his whole package ... er UHM I mean political 'k?! icon_wink.gif I guess that's why he makes me melt: because he's SO progressive AND hunky ... what else could you ask for?!

My Senators are Dianne Feintein and Barbara Boxer both old hags ... they're awesome (well Boxer is all the time but Feinstein some days she likes to act like a Republican from time-to-time and well she needs to be slapped upside the head for that) ... now what the hell am I supposed to do with two old women? heh.
