I am glad you posted this !

What is amazing to me is that while its one thing for the republican party to 'freeze out' someone the republican establishment doesn't want representing them, but what the hell is up with the media doing the same thing? Yes Stewart is part of the media and he is reporting this, but he is not the news organizations like CNN, ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX OR MSNBC and it seems they all pretty well give Paul no air time.

Remember though that from the very start of the TBaggers, the major media's kept attention on them and their disruptive demonstrations, rallies and TBagger town hall fiasco's. The media is what made them, and the same thing with Palin too, yet she complains about them. LOL !!

Makes a person wonder who the hell is calling the shots on who gets airtime which makes or breaks them. These are reasons why I don't trust the Mainstream Media to tell the whole story.

Bill O'Reilly mentioned he had invited Paul to appear on his show, but that Paul has not responded. This is after Paul appeared on Fox with Meagan Kelly complaining that he was not getting enough airtime. O'Reilly postulated that Paul wants air time where he can make speeches and not answer tough questions such as: 1) Are you OK with Iran getting the bomb, 2) Do you understand Iran has threatened to wipe Israel off the face of the earth, 3) Is there anything you would to to prevent that?

Its one thing to get airtime for his true numbers during the Ames straw poll and quite another to get airtime for the once sided pain in the ass O'Reilly. As for Israel, they have 120 or so neclear war heads according to some reports brought out several years ago and they have been putting pressure on the US to do the bombing for them against Iran. Even the bungling Bush had better sense than to go down that road and he stopped them from doing it.

So is Israel 'entitled' for some reason, that its ok for them to threaten to bomb and wipe out the Iranians, but somehow if Iran says the same thing about Israel, its not at all ok because they aren't 'entitled'. Who doesn't see through this sherade ?

When did Israel threaten to do anything even remotely similar to wiping Iran off the face of the earth? Never, and only a fool or bigot would say otherwise or try and make any equivalence.

I have absolutely no problem whatsoever with Iran getting the bomb.

They *will* get it regardless of what we say about it.

As long as we maintain tactical and strategic nuclear superiority, shouldn't be a problem.

And a will to deploy our nukes against states sponsoring terror attacks.

In case you aren't aware of it, the Ames straw poll is bought and paid for. All this talk about who came in first and second is no big deal.

Visitors to the fair (held by state Republicans) can vote for a candidate in the poll. To vote, you must purchase a $30 ticket.

How many people are likely to purchase a $30 ticket just for the chance to vote? Yeah, not many. This is why candidates purchase the tickets for them and give them out.

Bachmann purchased 6,000 tickets and received 4,823 votes. What a shock.

Ron Paul purchased 4,750 tickets and received 4,671 votes. Technically, he got a higher return on his investment and could be considered the more popular one.

But either way, the votes came about because they were paid for. And the Ames straw poll was created by the state Republicans as a means to raise revenue. Nothing more, nothing less.

LOL !!! So one side is entitled to have what it doesn't want the other side to have according to you. Israel has pushed for war with Iran for decades, and one man from Iran making statements, saying 'he'd like to' , or 'Israel should be' "wiped off the face of the earth" in anger over Israels actions toward the Palestinians for the last 6 or more decades, doesn't even close to mean that the Country of Iran would do it.

I don't support such statements, but neither do I support one group of loud complainers having something they don't want anyone else to have either. and that fairness that I believe in, is not by any stretch based on bigotry. Israel did the deeds that caused its Isolation and delegitimizaion in its neighborhood, so I guess they'll have to figure out how to get along and treat their neighbors more fairly or continue to make and keep enemies.

But lets get back to the topic, I think between the Republican Party leaders and the mainstream media (MSN), he is really getting the shaft. Look how close he is to Bachmann's votes and yet he rarely gets mentioned at all. What is that about the Republicans calling the MSN liberal ? If they were so liberal why are they going along with the republican party and freezing out Ron Paul ? Who is calling the shots on this one in the Media if it isn't the Repubs pressuring to keep Paul's name from being mentioned.
