It's looking like 15-20% of U.S. will feel it one way or another,...and prob same percentage in Canada!

    This is my plan:

    Hurricane recipe
    1 oz vodka
    1/4 oz grenadine syrup
    1 oz gin
    1 oz light rum
    1/2 oz BacardiĀ® 151 rum
    1 oz amaretto almond liqueur
    1 oz triple sec
    grapefruit juice
    pineapple juice

Pour all but the juices, in order listed, into a hurricane glass three-quarters filled with ice. Fill with equal parts of grapefruit and pineapple juice, and serve

Going to the beach tomorrow to watch the waves (before the weather gets too bad). I highly recommend it if you're an adventurous person.

Just keepin everyone in my thoughts and hoping it doesn't get too bad. Completely sunny for the next 10 days here in Atlanta so we won't even see rain from it

Cleaning out the gutters and drains.
    Tying up some plants.
(Lawns already mowed so the grass doesn't get too tall before next mowing.)
    Hoping for the best.

I wanted winds in excess of 40 mph, clouds, and rain; but all we got in coastal Georgia was sunshine and partly cloudy skies, with very little wind (<20 mph). I'm disappointed. icon_sad.gif

as a boat owner i'm doing all i can to prep the boat. needless to say, i'm a cautious individual especially with the storm surge and the sustained winds.

Came down to Rehoboth Beach yesterday, took stuff off our balcony. Governor ordered a mandatory evacuation for al within 3/4 of a mile of the ocean, bay or other bodies of water. Heading back to DC shortly to prep there.
