The reason I have started this topic is because I have used the same deodorant/antiperspirant now for about 20 years. I have noticed in the past few months that is does not work for me any longer. No I do not intend on running around the city with B.O. However I have started to notice that has become a turn on for me and now I started to notice other peoples as well.
Not every bodies smell nice in fact far from it, but there are a few of us (myself included) that is actually kind of pleasant well not just pleasant just down right sexy! There truly is no other words to describe it. I now understand why some fragrances contain human pheromones. Drives me crazy! Anyway now that I have outed myself as a freak... I'm just curious what's you guys take on this?

There are times when a man's natural scent is a huge turn on.

Natural scent's a big turn on for me. Deodorant just smell.... clear or spicy (which then is a turn off)

I can't believe it took me this long to realize this. Part of me thinks that I have always known but did not want to admit it.

Every man likes the smell of his own farts. ~ Icelandic Proverb

You should be sure to ask a female friend of yours how you smell.

There is someone at the local courthouse where I do business that apparently believes he doesn't need deodorant and at 6am, I'm sure he smelled just fine.
    But by 2pm....no.

I agree, out in public, social events, at work, a person should be clean and not offensive.
In your own space, or with others that don't mind or appreciate some natural scent, then there's nothing wrong with it.

if a man doesn't smell like a man, i'm not all that interested. just saying.

same goes for body hair, a man should have hair where a man should have hair. i'm not really into hairy men at all, but i am into naturally haired men, hairy or not.

not into dirty but the scent of a recently showered (3-4 hours) man who is sweating due to intense physical exertion is an amazing turn on for me...

I had this happen not long ago. The guy was so amazing, so hot, but he needed to change brands of deodorant, because his brand had let him down. It was not that bad, but bad enough to put a pox on the evening.

Funny to see this topic - for some reason, the deodorants I usually use haven't been working all that well for me lately either and I've noticed by the afternoon my armpits are taking on much more of a funky sweaty man-smell than I'd like.

I don't know what to try instead!
