I have yet to meet a truly masculine, relationship oriented, and stable top in NYC. Granted, I don't do the nightlife stuff and work pretty often, but do you dudes exist? Hit a brother up :-)

    *slowly backs out of thread*

Maybe you should quit using ridiculous buzz words to oversimplify what you are looking for.

What exactly is "truly masculine" as you define it? I do not see many guys walking around and killing sharks with their bare hands - but maybe I don't go out enough.

What exactly is relationship oriented? Because it is either a lie told at a bar by a drunk person, or you expect some sort of veracity and evidence to be pulled out of their back pocket with years-long relationships with people in truly (editor's note: dammit, oversimplified myself to make a point!) monogamous relationships. Which is ridiculous. Some of the longest term relationship couples I know were total sluts up until the time they met each other, neither looked like they would ever be able to make a relationship work, but they did.

You might want to expand your horizons just a little bit or you will be single and unhappy for quite some time.

According to spacekadet since you lacked the mens rea to murder that m*********** like it owed you money, you are clearly a submissive feminine bottom and one that is not relationship oriented at that or stable, to boot.

Am I correct in applying your analysis to the stated facts, spacekadet? icon_biggrin.gif

I'm fairly certain that what I did to that bag of chips would be considered murder/borderline genocide.

People get really mad around here when you use the word "masculine", SpaceKadet. It's kind of like Peewee Herman's "secret" word. You know how he freaks out when someone says it? Yeah. It happens here.

This isn't m4m nsa craiglist. It was inappropriate and deserved a bitch slap reprimand, not only for the poor choice in fora but also because it was belittling and subtly heteronormative to 99.8% of the registered VERIFIED members.

You put an "honest request" like that on Grindr with a photo of the restroom stall you are in. That kind of thing, spaghetti monster be damned, somebody be gettin' HIV infected tonight and it does not belong up in here. Put that on the ATG forum? You are just asking for trouble. Trouble I am happy to conjure. icon_eek.gif

I think there are plenty of tops in NYC. Not too hard to find.

Probably not gonna find one that meets all your criteria you've listed on Jack'd or Grindr or A4A, etc. etc.

Network. Talk to your RL friends, join clubs, sports teams, etc.

yes we do exist....but it's a two way street in what you can offer the man back, and what you're willing to give up to be with him.

No, not even. People are WAY hypersensitive when it comes to the word "masculine". I guarantee you if he had not put that word in his post he would not have gotten any of the negative responses he did. Same could be said if you replaced his usage of the word "masculine" with "feminine". It wasn't heteronormative at all, either. People just get bent out of shape over the smallest things.

If a guy wants a masculine guy, then he wants a masculine guy. If you don't fit that description then grow up, get the hell over it, and move on.

Almost every hot guy I encounter isn't into blond guys. Yeah, it sucks, but if you don't fit their attraction then whatever. It's not the end of the damn world.

I agree wholeheartedly. I'd much rather see something like this as opposed to a mindless "what's the guy above you" or a "vote ______ for MOTD" post. Regardless, everyone is open to their own opinion; that is what these forums are for, right?
