Everyone who reads this should see Shelter.

Ok, it was just going through the Film Festival cycle and what not, and it will be released on May 27th...but, you should really see it. It was a really good movie, especially by gay movie budget standards, haha. If anyone has seen it, what are your thoughts?

    Ok, here's the trailer:

Basically, it's about this guy who is close to his family, a family that heavily relies on him. He also is sort of coming out of the closet, and falling in love, and...yeah. I don't want to spoil it. Just remember to see it, lol.

I wanted more. I actually watched it twice because it moves very fast and ends way too soon. Over all it was done very well. I don't want to say too much because I don't want to spoil it for those that haven't seen it so... For anyone who can't wait to see it on DVD you can always rent it from heretv.com on line and watch it now. Just click on download videos and you will see a list of current movies. when I know more have seen it I'll join in about the actual story line and the ending. The only thing I will warn is that it's very fast paced. I think a total of 80 minutes. Don't look for endless fuck scenes. They pretty much handle all of that in two scenes. The initial first time encounter and then a montage of many days and nights of growing love in a music type video setting. No below the waist nudity as well. It's a fast past falling in love coming out situation with some added drama.

It's a very sweet film, I get Here Tv with my cable package, it's currently running on that channel now. The film was produced by Here Tv, they will be producing more films in the future.

I saw it the weekend before last. It was on OnDemand via Comcast, the Here! option. I really liked it. There's another picture with Robert Gant and Shannen Doherty called 'Kiss Me Deadly'. I liked this one too.

Looks good. I'll keep this movie in mind.

Another good movie too is Latter Days. Sortof like a "Romeo & Romeo" movie.

Haha. Actually, my sister thought so too. Personally, the two main characters do it for me. Not that he's not hot, but, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

I think it was better than Edge of Seventeen, and as for Latter Days, can't wait to see it. I wanted to last weekend when at a friend's house, but I didn't have time!

    I Agree,
Latter Days is a great gay movie. Moving, Funny and very tough in places + I love Jacqueline Bisset - great to see her on screen in a good role!

I love Latter Days... It's so much like my life. Growing up as a Mormon. Cry everytime I watch it, but now I cry because I am so happy the way that my life has turned out.

    TLA VIDEO

    http://www.tlavideo.com/product/2-0-248420_shelter.html?sn=1

It will be released on DVD later this month - it looks like a well done film in the vein of Latter Days, Another Gay Movie (which is funny as hell), and Boy Culture (which is great also)

I am sorry if other distributors are on board for this release (Maybe HereTV) but this is who I know of...

I just downloaded it and watched it... very nicely done. Still waiting for films like that to go mainstream. Maybe someday.

I saw this in the theater. The story line is a bit rich, but I'd watch it again. ...btw, you can watch it On Demand (with Comcast anyway) on the 'here!' section of the movies--t's their lgbt programming site.
