August 14th and 15th, only because I was in a different city and wanted to be with "family." BORING!!! Of course, Sunday and Monday have never been big going-out nights. But there was hardly a soul in either place. And Sunday's spot was weird 'cause the only other patrons were five M/F pairs.
My gaydar only went off for the woman with the crewcut and the checkered flannel shirt (duhhhh) and her guy who wore "designer" glasses and swished. Probably the rest were the kind of hets who go to Gay bars to show how tolerant and hip they are.
As for Monday? Three granddaddies who came and went at various times I was there, but DAYUMMM was the bartender cute! A 50-ish blonde with a pit bull build, whose cute knobby nipples strained against his T-shirt and who looked half his age.
Ordinarily I almost never get my drink on at Gay bars any more. On my home turf it's probably been four years. There's no point whatsoever. If I want a fun atmo whether flying solo or meeting friends, "regular" places are the way to go. Where taking care of the basic need we all have besides food and water and shelter is concerned, my track record has always been better on the 'net and just going about everyday life. It's silly to go someplace where the odds of having a good time much less getting laid are worse!
