Religions have a right to rules of membership. If that is not supporting it's gay members in the right to marry within it's jurisdiction fine. let them walk down a path in a park, or back yard, or beach in Hawaii. Religions like all other private clubs have a right to rules, and if it's members don't like it, they should just leave, and not blackmail the organisation in to their wants.

This kind of this is just sending the advancement of us homosexuals backwards; shame on them.........

Some folks here aren't gay men...they are men who happen to be gay.

Lots of us have lives and beliefs that extend beyond the politics and religious aspects of being gay...

If you really believe in something, but one tenet of that belief is against another, it is completely reasonable to lobby for that change...

I'm all for it. It's about time people stand up to these god damned churches that tell us we're going to burn for all eternity because of the way their god made us.

Like any organization or business that you're a part of, if there is something not to your liking then you should work to change it rather than run away.
