We love the RJ team (he said, by way of innoculation), but there's always room for improvement. This thread is for folks to give the RJ team feedback.
My thing:
Does anyone else feel that the behavior that results when clicking on a profile's thumbnail picture is like an annoying game of Wack-A-Mole? I don't know how many times I'm trying to click thru a couple interesting thumbnails on some guy's profile page, only to have the thumbnails rearrange and force me have to rescan the entire set of thumbs to decide where to put my mouse on the next click.
Every time I do this (what, 1,000 times now?) I feel like someone is moving the food on my plate around just before I try to stab it with my fork. OY IT DRIVES ME CRAZY! I usually give up and navigate using the "gallery" option - where I can leave witty comments as well (it took me a while to find out that the gallery view was the only way to leave comments).
Yahoo Personals is an example of a nice profile photo interface that doesn't have this problem.
OK, that's my user interface rant. The rest of the site is actually pretty clean tho.
K
PS In the kudos department: I'm glad the home page was restored a little bit recently, once again showing more "who's on" thumbnails and letting us once again see the active forum topics without too much scrolling. Shows someone is paying attention, which is nice.
