Videodrome for sure! It was shown in the film class I helped teach and it freaks the kids right out:

Me: "what was your favorite scene from videodrome?"
    class: "it was weird"
Me: "well, my favorite scene was when Max grows a vagina in his stomach and fucks himself with a gun!"

"Therefore, television is reality, and reality is less than television."

Videodrome is my favorite of the Cronenberg films.

Scanners is also an important Cronenberg film.

    And a couple other favorites-

Basically, it was about a weapons and security company exploiting scanners (people with very strong telepathic powers). There are two different factions of scanners working against each other. Of course it's more complicated than that, but so much of what brings the story together is revealed near the end of the movie that it is kind of difficult to explain without being a spoiler. Watch it again now that you older and it will make more sense.

'The Fly',where Jeff Goldblum starts going all athletic on the parallel bars! 'Scanners' was pretty good, too.
