Scott Herman Did a Workout video and referenced "Hurricane Irene" in the title and video, but some of his Youtube fans were not happy about it, do you think the video was in poor taste? here is one of his responses as well as the video...

@underclass29 yeah people are dead, now I am going to spend the rest of my life in agony because of it.... oh wait.... no... I think I might try to find the positive and inspire others to do so as well so we don't kill each other in an emo rage.

The families of the 14 victims might still be a wee bit tender.

    Just sayin.

people die every day from all kinds of things. Yes its tragic that people died and people were injured. If things were never joked about there would be no comedy. Its political correctness run amok. Every talk show will be some joke about Hurricane Irene..whether it be the View, Regis, Leno, Lettermen, Conan. Should we never talk about anything. Some people are too sensitive and Im pretty sure that the families of 14 victims will never ever see this video if they lived 1000 years

oh for fuck´s sake. People ENJOY getting bent out of shape over the possible offense that MIGHT be given to someone else. It´s absurd.

Go get jobs. Get a BF. Have kids. Do something to fill up your time so you haven´t got the energy to piss me off.

Pfft, who needs a BF? I've got video games and a mildly exciting and thoroughly fulfilling job.

We lost 6 confirmed and 7 are missing with numerous areas still unreachable here in NC. Yet compared to the Presidential Spokesman who said that "...This hurricane will turn out to be a good thing- it will wreck devastation yes, but ultimately people will have to rebuild, and that will create jobs. [from] This the President will benefit as the unemployment rate will drop. Politically this is a double for Pres. Obama." OMG, when i first heard reports of this, i was dumfounded... and then the clarification made things worse. He speaks on behalf of the President, and personally I wish he would respect the loss of lives versus the political gain Pres. Obama hopes he receives.

Persons should NEVER use a tragedy for any sort of gain. Political or otherwise.

There are some values that should be taught in both, the family and the school. What apparently looks business creativity and self promotion just crossed the line because the Irene Hurricane took some lives! And he does not see the problem because his family was not affected! This is just a lack of sensitivity!icon_sad.gif

Hmmm, I dont think anyone in the Caribbean would ever even think of joking about a hurricane... not that I really take offense at it either.. i just find it strange.. why is it even funny?.... You dont make jokes about volcanoes or earthquakes or the war either.... for the simple reason that it aint funny lol

I like Scott Herman, but he always came across as a serious attention whore (IMO)

He wanted to get a Mens Health/Fitness cover op, but they told him he needed to be more of a celeb, so he's been workin' it since. Perhaps that's why he comes across as an attention whore, as you perceive. He's very supportive of our community tho.

No, it is not in poor taste.

If you actually watch the video, he talks about hoping that everyone stays safe in the storm... etc etc.

    People are so ridiculous.

Even though I subscribe to Men's Health magazine, the mag itself is a freaking joke. Highly contradictory from publication to publication icon_razz.gif

Scott is a really cool dude though. I don't see the big deal about this to be honest...
