    Be honest.
Do you genuinely need a guy with a shit ton of patience to make a relationship work at the moment?
What are these things that you think will test a guy's patience

    career, family issues, something emotional?

    I guess I'll go first.

For starters I'm in the military. I'm gone all the time and though a deployment typically about a year, I find myself flying around the country preparing for deployments up to 5 months before I even mobilize.

I'm also a fulltime student, so the time that I have at home is usually occupied with studying for exams and sittting through 4 hour classes.

Until things die down a bit, I'm either going to need a guy with the patience of a saint, or to not be bothered with serious men at all.

Yes, I do and not for any specific reason but simply because it's me..

I sometimes get impatient and grumpy as hell when I haven't eaten or stuff like that..

The guy just needs to understand I get grumpy.

I think it was Carl Jung that said, "To be understood is to feel loved."

    Oh, most def!!
I have a strong personality, and at times am a bit too sarcastic for most tastes. I can also be a little grumpy/overly serious/ OCD, once in a while... Patience in a guy is a top 6 requirement..My guy somehow manages to be patient, while usually making fun of me & making me laugh..

No, I've had plenty of experience with impatient friends and my ex. Patience is a quality I can live without. I'm most frustrated with guys who are not comfortable in their own skin!!!

Is there a difference between patience and complacency?

It has to be a balance, but for past experience, I tend to be grumpy and moody after I wake up, especially If I had bas sleep, and yeah, sometimes I'm a pain in the ass, so my boy should be aware and be little patience on that.

Haha also sometimes I used to complain so bad about work or random shit when I have a bad day with my ex, but he knew that sometimes I just need to talk about it, after that, everything is alright... Oh God, he really was so patient lol

On the other hand I think I'm not that bad providing patient, I think.
