Profire saidHow difficult is it to get/stay at your bf%?
Getting there, the hardest part was figuring out which foods my body responds best to, and worst to. The exercise part has its own level of difficulty, but being an adrenaline junkie, I never really liked sitting idle anyway. The additional motion was welcomed into my lifestyle.
Profire saidWhat have you given up to attain your physique?
$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$, because the foods my body responds best to are relatively expensive...and I actually eat more now than I did when I was fat.
Profire saidI am at ~12.5% and I eat grilled chicken salads without dressing, no drinking alcohol during the week, gave up sodas, no desserts, one cheat meal a week, run 20 miles a week, lift weights 4-5 times a week, etc.
Look for HFCS and other corn sweeteners, and cut them out of your diet. Also cut out dairy and grains.
Profire saidI know how much I have given up to get to where I am, I would live to know how much you have given up to get where you are.
PS-I know you have had to give up a lot of stuff which is admirable to have your dedication and commitment.
I never thought of it as giving up stuff. I think of it as replacing unhealthy marketing gimmicks with real food, and eating more of it. So really it's a win-win situation because I get to eat more, and I taught myself how to cook all my favorite meals with healthy ingredients instead of relying on restaurants to feed me their fattening shit for 3x the price.
