socalfitness saidMy opinion is we should not post in the threads that are obviously flame baiting from the left. You know the obvious ones - the all caps threads, the x things to annoy Republicans, and the like. I say let them high five each other, don't give them the time of day or satisfaction, and respond only to the more serious threads created by some of the guys you can respect. Ok ok ok here's the thing you REFUSE to admit or understand. Did you know that you can be a 'democrat' or 'independent' AND a "fiscal conservative"? I didnt think so. Its that obvious. continue to play your game of labels.. Just goes to show how shallow a thinker you are and your end game.
In terms of shallow thinking, you and a few of your cohorts are in a category of your own. But I do agree on the difficulty of using labels because they can be interpreted differently by some, and they often are relative. I think my definition in this case was obvious, especially in a thread that was definitely not directed to you.
Just to be clear, I agree that there are Democrats and Independents who I consider fiscally conservative. Those Democrats, especially those labeled as blue dogs, are not calling the shots in the Democratic Party. The ones who are, Obama, Reid, Pelosi, Schumer, and Van Hollen, for example, I do not consider as fiscal conservatives. Some even further left may disagree, but as I said, it's relative.
I think both the target audience I intended for this thread, as well as those I suggest avoiding are quite clear. Using labels is a reasonable substitute for listing names, which I don't think would be proper.
