It does look beautiful Gloppy. Where is that?

I had a 2.5 hour trail run today by the James River in Richmond. My favorite place to run. Gorgeous day. Twice on the loop I was on, I passed a group of young shirtless cross country boys. Looked like college age. Definitely made me pick up my step.

That's Block Island, a small spot off the coast of southern Rhode Island. Absolutely beautiful. The Nature Conservancy calls it one of the "Last Great Places."

BTW, I'm from Richmond originally and I've run some trails on Brown's Island. Nicely restored since I left there in 1990.

Nice Gloppy. I've been to Block Island about 10-12 years ago. Beautiful. What a great place to run!

Nice to hear you are from Richmond. The trails around Brown's Island, Belle Island and both the north and south trails are pretty spectacular. The park system really does an excellent job with them.

10.2 miles in 70 minutes. No where as beautiful as Block Island, though. icon_neutral.gif
