Well, I mean, maybe for the older gays like in their 30s, 40s, and 50s, but for the younger gays who are like in their upper teens - 20s, being single is fucking awesome. I'll never understand why people around my age are just so desperate for a relationship like they don't have their whole lives to get one. It's like, all I hear from them is how lonely they are and how they wish they had a relationship and blah blah blah. Shit is getting kind of old.!

I was recently broken up with. I just like to convey my feelings of hurt and sadness because they are legitimate to me. I realize that it is not the end of the world by any means. Just something inside me wants an outlet for this despair and I have to convey that to other people. We live in a society, and within a society people communicate with each other. It is relieving and comforting to know that when I convey my feelings, of whatever nature they may be, they are appreciated by some small/large population of society. I'm human. I hurt. I make no apologies for it.

Pretty young myself and looking for love. I'm not desperately scouring for a boyfriend but I want to have that connection and unity that comes with love. A safe haven that is warm and honest. Waking up next to someone who truly knows who you are and loves you for it. Sharing yourself and your life with someone else. Hooking up and flings are unsatisfactory and pointless to me. I want to love and I want to be loved. Those are my reasons.
