Well after just a little sleep, I'm about to go to work for a server training shift, then a good fellow RJer of mine is going to pick me up and we're going straight to the lake. 4th has been packed with out of towners, I have a wristband to the party barges, my trusty flask, my tiny swim suit... and my waterproof camera with video.

Splash is a huge boat party in Hippy Hollow on lake Travis, many would argue bigger than pride. Should prove to be quite the adventure!

Anyways, happy Splash! / Labor Day... I'll come back and post some goodies.

I have got to do splash again. My picture ended up in Twist, I was wearing the "tarzan tonga thong" from International Male. Yes sombody actually put that thing on in public.

I went to Splash95 with Jeff Darnell from Houston. What a great guy, we had so much fun.

Isn't Hippy Hollow still nude? I was prohibited from going to public nude places when I was an Army Officer ("conduct unbecoming") and lived in San Antonio, within reach of it at Lake Travis.

For water recreation I instead used to go to the military beaches & campgrounds at Canyon Lake, and also to Schlitterbahn waterpark, south of Austin. Plus the NAS at Corpus Christi, and the Gulf beaches of South Padre Island.

Before I moved from Texas, I used to go to Hippy Hollow, especially Memorial Day weekend and Labor Day weekend..... back in the early 1980's. lol It was a blast and was clothing optional.
