it's known that the 5 senses influence our physical attraction to others, but there's one "sense" that's more predominant in how we're aroused. Smell is my top sense aside from sight. What's yours?

I thought this thread was going a completely different direction. From the title I expected the OP to share he has keenly aware Top-dar. I can "sense" a top from a mile away...lol

Sometimes I hate it but SMELL is my most heightened sense. I can smell things blocks away. I can walk by a car and tell if it is leaking oil or engine coolant. I can walk into any house and give you a list of each item cooking. I have to hold my breath if I am remotely near a garbage can because the stink is so bad I get sick.

One time I went to my best friends house and was sitting in his living room waiting for him to get ready for a party. I smelled something I new all too well. I walked into his bedroom and his bed smelled just like my current bf. I looked at my friend and he knew I knew. My bf had spent the night there...

Definitely smell for me. I can pick out things really well, which is sometimes not so good if it's a bad smell!

I appreciate reading this thread as I'm keenly aware of my partner's trait more: it's smell for him and touch for me. I melt whenever he touches me; he owns me. For him, he LOVES the natural smell of my body. It drives him into an unstoppable, sexual rage I cannot stop until he is done using me.

(Sorry TMI, but you guys all know what I mean)

Every one of you but the OP has overlooked your most used sense: Sight.

You SEE a hot guy, then you might SMELL him and want to TOUCH him

I have a blind Uncle. He'd argue with you about smell being a top sense!

I'd have to say intuition. I have a terrible sense of smell. I wouldn't doubt I have anosmia.

At the risk of sounding terribly goofy, I have synesthaesia, so I could say the sense of others emotions like barometric pressure changes, or the taste of colours or the look of sounds.

It makes life rather interesting at times, lol.

Hearing and taste. For as long as I can remember, my sense of hearing has always been quite keen. Growing up I could hear the slightest and strangest things in my house. I remember having sleep problems early in my life because I would keep waking up to the slightest sounds. I had to train myself to tune everything out so I could stay asleep.

My sense of taste didn't really develop until I became an adult. I used to be a picky eater, but my habits have changed dramatically since childhood. I can detect a lot of different flavors in the food I eat. I'm even pretty good at identifying ingredients in a dish even though I have no culinary training (I'm a good amateur cook, but never went to school for it).

perception/intuition for me, I can sense something is wrong in the air.

Sometimes is good because I know something is coming; other I wish I did not know. Just like a couple of weeks ago, something was wrong when I left for work. I did not know what it was, but had this intuition/premonition that something was up...sure enough a couple minutes later received a email that my mom was in the hospital.
