    Interesting read, that link you've just posted. I knew about the Sambia people from a few Indonesian friends who has had contacts in Irian Jaya (the Indonesian province directly adjacent to Papua New Guinea), and often show a range of reactions to this ancient practice, ranging from an unhealthy fascination in semen ingestion to what amounted to projectile vomit. Despite that, the actual ritual itself is dying out - as far as I know, the increase in Christian missionary activity in the highland regions have forced a complete halt to many practices deemed to be "backwards and paganistic", among of which includes the insemination ritual.

    Personally I think it as a good thing that this particular ritual is on the decline - with the increased rate of new STD cases (most notably AIDS) becoming higher than average in that part of the world, as well as my concern for the psychological wellbeing of young adults who do not want to participate themselves in such activity, swallowing bodily fluids is starting to become too risky to involve one's own life with U_U

    yes of course, swallowing sperm can be risky.
    But i never knew of all those rituals in various religions . I'm sure it all came from kinky hight priests who wanted an excuse to bust a nut. aho.

    At least HIV wasn't a problem for the first organised religions and societies back then - kinda makes a person think twice about downing a cup of the special stuff nowadays . . . not that I would have the slightest problem with that icon_wink.gif

    OK I have never heard that Sacred Sperm song, and hadn't heard about sacred sperm before reading this post. I have read that oral transmission of HIV is practically impossible unless you have a cut in your mouth somewhere. So... make sure you know how HIV can be transmitted before you worry about it too much. Besides...shouldn't sacred sperm be divinely protected from STD's anyway? That's what Fred Phelps said when I mentioned it to him, and he's a stand out gentleman.

    your group has no taste...

    @Real83

    yes, but it's easy to neglect a small mouth sore, or lip scratch . But even then, the body is very quick at putting up a barrier .

    Ultimately, i 'd be more attracted to the devil's sperm than any divine one...an old filthy perv like me would feel so out of place sucking off lil jesus with angels ploinking on their lyres .
