I have always named my cars. For some reason I like saying "Miles needs an oil change" as opposed to "my car needs an oil change."

My current little car is named Miles because he has LOTS of them.
My last cars were named Maxine (Maxima), Ghetto Girl (Civic) Berenice (Maxima)....Sadly I named my mom's car and my friends ask me to name their cars lol

    You get the point. icon_razz.gif

This is what insomnia gets you guys.

Barbie >< We went shopping for a Jeep Wrangler, and I ended up with a Jeep Compass (which it turns out I love just as much), it's not a real jeep, more of a barbie jeep icon_razz.gif

A really good friend of mines old car name was Lurch ^ ^
It was an old Bug that barely lurched down the road... we even had to push it half a mile in the center lane of double lane two way traffic cause it broke down :O

The Topless German Whore. She's German, she likes to go topless whenever the weather is nice, and she's a loud little bitchwhore in red.

Guinevere. I drive a 2004 Chrysler Sebring (It's all I could afford) and the name just seemed right.

My car does not have a name....yet.
But I do have some great names for some of my friends cars.

Juicy, because it always seems to be leaking something. Oil, radiator fluid, R134A coolant, gasoline, you name it.

Charr, because it keeps managing to catch fire or explode.

The Mystery Machine. My female friend has a van that looks like it came out of Scooby Doo. I love driving around in the mystery machine, lol.

I don't name my cars, but my navigation system is named Peggy.

That way when I get lost because of the woman telling me where to go, I can yell things like "F*** you Peggy! Now, I'm completely lost because of you, Peggy!" Since it's voice activated, I found that if I press the voice input and say "Bite me Peggy" that it responds with "Pardon?!?" in a very indignant tone.

It just seems more appropriate to personify a voice than a car.

I am flat-out against this! And the reason is because earlier this year we traded in our first car, which my partner had named Sacajawea (no idea why). Naming her (and, uh, apparently assigning her a gender) made it far too personal.

We had to stop by the dealer a few weeks later to pick up some things we'd ordered for the new car, and Sacajawea was still sitting out back by herself wondering when we were taking her home. I actually teared up a little. Over a hunk of metal.

    So embarrassing.

My friends kept saying it feels like being in a spaceship or time machine.

I kept the name time machine.
