drew doughty is getting bad advise from his greedy agent... hes showing how immature he is.. tolly not on board as a team guy...
his holdin out for more $$ or better contract terms this late and at the expense of the best los angeles kings team to hit the ice since gretzky took em all the way to the finals is disappointing...
    fail.fail.fail.fail.fail.fail.fail.fail.fail.fail.fail.fail.fail.fail.fail.fail.fail.fail.fail.fail.fail.fail.fail.fail..

Agree he is getting very bad advice and not signing a deal for a fair value is nuts. He can sign a one year deal and prove he's worth more than what is being offered, but wanting to be paid the highest amount of any NHL d-man is plain crazy.

Kings need him in the mix to have a great season and advance in the playoffs. If I was the GM I'd make him sit out until he realizes 6.5m or whatever they offered is an incredible sum of cash.

Great for Ducks fans like me, but not so much for long suffering Kings fans.

It really is starting to look like a game of chicken. Lombardi isnt going to trade DD, and while LA is a better team with the additions, not having this young stud on their blueline will catch up with them and cost them points.
On the other hand DD is making himself look bad, and if does get DL to pony up more money (which he wont) and doesnt perform at an all-star level night in and night out he'll get booed out of town. But I guess he wont be complaining too much at the 7 mil a year for 4 yrs that he wants.

Sid the kid is practicing and I hope he is ready to play before heading out West to visit So. Cal. Hope he doesn't come back before he's 100%.

LA Times reported today that DD is practicing with the London Knights and is in great shape. Too bad he decided to go that route instead of coming to camp with the Kings. Doesn't seem like there is any movement from either side, so lets see what happens the closer we get to the start of the season. Hold out DL. Don't over pay and screw up the great job you did maintaining available cap space to keep all the young core group together.

Ducks are looking pathetic in pre-season, but that's to be expected. Not sure I'll make it to a pre-season game this year, but can't wait for the regular season.

i can't wait (only another week or so) for the indoor rinks around here to be open to the public longer hours. Really looking forward to winter, when i can skate outside again. Just wish we had ponds in this city, so i could skate any time i wanted in winter.

That's what I'm waiting for. I'm a five min walk from a playground that has a rink with boards. It's usually ready by the end of December.
