Whether I follow someone else's advice, or my own... it does not matter.... I always, always, always wind up making the decision that just digs me deeper into problems.... WTH do I do? It's like I never ever make the right decision anymore, and its frustrating to all hell.... WTH is wrong with me?

    *sigh*

    Rant over....

You look so tired in all your pics! Get some regular sleep. Think things through yourself in life-look before you leap.

Trust me, I sleep alot and think things over too much, according to what people tell me :/ ... if anything, ppl say i think over my decisions too much, and am not spontaneous enough in them.... but then when I do them spontaneously I get told I should have thought it over... its very frustrating indeed :/

MuchMoreThanMuscle saidPerhaps you have some canine lineage?

Learn to embrace it, don't fight it.

Acceptance is the first step. I swear by this!

You get told? So someone is not approving of what you do? What if you were not told you were 'wrong', would that make a difference?

Lol no, all my decisions have led me to places where the trouble flared up :/ And I mean not once, I mean for years, over and over.... Not that I ever made any trouble in them... I always wind up in crisis-situations :/.. I seem to have a propensity for being at the wrong place at the wrong time all the time... HELP!!!! lol

Don't sweat it too much. Enjoy life. Worry is like a rocking chair it gives you something to do but gets you no where. Give examples of some of these decisions you have or had to make, maybe RJ can give better help.

Lol, some examples? EVERY job, school, or country I went to turned into a crisis.. and not the overcome-able kinds... I mean the types where I had to leave the school, country or the job i was doing, because there was simply no alternative but to look for something elsewhere...

I have a knack of picking the things that will go bust :/

How is a country, job, or school not a specific decision? What is even a general decision????

Yeah, I think Im gonna start doing the opposite of what I decide for the time being icon_razz.gif

you said EVERY job, school, country you lived in?? I meant specifics like details of what went wrong and why!! What where u actually deciding and what actually went wrong.

For example if you said my parents said to go to school for medicine and I went for finance but wasn't good with numbers as I thought- those are what I am talking about. Or do u not really want advice??

Life is a learning continum, to me that is. I usually am not good at taking other people's (who's been there,) advices. It's like, I need to put my hands in the flames to know what it is like, so I end up doing the wrong things first to get to the right decisions. Professionally, I'm no way like this.

So far, it's worked out well for me because I and other people are willing to give me a second chance because I talked it over with trusted friends before I make a decision(eg jobs choices, city to live, etc).

O no, I didnt mean I made bad decisions that were beyond my capabilities.. im pretty good at evaluating capabilities......... I went to school and did fine and past.. I took jobs and I was often offered contracts most of the time...

    BUT

The teachers/managers had fights, and fell out, and the schools/places closed down or were suspended in their activities..

AND/OR.. the company/school managers turned out to be corrupt and sent ppl into bankruptcy and/or did other illegal things or simply underpaid to a level that was just unacceptable

AND FINALLY.. the countries I was in always seemed to wind up spiralling downwards just as I took a position there... not fun!

THIS is what I mean.. I wind up in a crisis situation that seems to leave my work fruitless.... or otherwise useless... :/

So I think I should start doing the opposite of what I would decide otherwise.. perhaps this way i will stop taking the roads that lead nowhere lol

Well you shouldn't feel bad about those things as much because it sounds like the reasons they failed were out of your hands. Maybe just unlucky decisionsicon_idea.gif

Move on and keep your chin up!!!

Hmmm, i never make a decision entirely on my own... i always ask for other inputs... everybody usually has a different opinion, but they can be valuable nontheless.. especially from ppl who have put their hand in the fire before....

Anyways, my problem is more... I wind up in the wrong places at the wrong times... I seem to have bad sense of where to go when to avoid accidents lol

Yup, unlucky decisions, but its become a string of em, like for many many years now... Im having a hard time believing Im not doing something wrong now...

The only thing I can imagine is that I need to check up on the backgrounds and situations of where im moving into... that Im not doing that enough as of yet...

You can't control those macro events, or changes in your setting that you didn't expect. Give yourself a break man.

I live a city with low job prospects but low cost of living and a great social life. I tough it out longer than I hope because I did my research on the opportunities, know Im good at what I do, and found something eventually that I like.

You really have to do your homework when you make a big decision like where you moving to; its prospects and stability.

Same with schools and jobs.... I guess I thought I did enough homework.. but most likely this means indeed I should be doing more of it.. thanks for the suggestions!
