I hooked up with a guy for the first time tonight. We rimmed, jerked each other off, made out, and blew each other. He was a complete stranger and told me he recently was tested and came back negative as of last monday. I was so stupid to do this because he is a stranger. When I sucked him off, he was pre cumming. Is there a way for HIV to be in precum? What should I do? When should I get tested? I'm so scared now, I knew I would be regretting this! I created this profile to get some help from you all, please I'M SCARED!!

The risk of HIV infection for those activities is minimal. You'll be okay.

It's like lower than %5 lol, I think you're fine. Even if he did have something... You probably wouldn't catch it. Unless you just brushed your teeth... You could swallow a whole load of HIV cum and long as it doesn't actually get into your system you're fine. From what I've read? So long as you have no cuts anywhere you're pretty much right.

You should be ok. Recommend testing for you every 6 months as long as your are sexually active. Don't worry about it, just learn from the experience and adapt so you can continue to play without all the anxiety. Good luck.

I read in a journal article that the chances of getting HIV through oral sex are very, very slim. The risk of infection goes up when you swallow the semen, but even then it the chance of transmission is low.

There is HIV in semen and, while the risk of infection from oral sex is low, technically, it can still happen. If you are really worried, you would have to wait six months to get tested. In most cases, I believe, it takes the body about six months to produce antibodies which is what diagnostic exams test for.

Having sex with strangers in this day is really dangerous, but I think a lot of people have done it, including myself. People can lie about their STD status or they may not know they have a STD. Stay safe, shit like this can affect you for the rest of your life.

It's good that you are worried about these things but you shouldn't be overly concerned about those activities. none are huge risks for transferring HIV (Though there are always other diseases to worry about too, I don't understand why everyone is only ever concerned about HIV?)

You should get tested in a few weeks, and then again every 6 months until you're no longer sexually active.

Don't be scared. Don't regret it. Sex is natural + fun and as long as you are safe you shouldn't worry about it!

    So, did you have fun?

You're worried about the wrong thing. You SHOULD be worried about the fact that you rimmed a total stranger and have NO IDEA when he last shit or showered, which means you could have exposed yourself to hepatitis, giardiasis and a host of other poop-carried ailments.

    Wait, you rimmed a HOOKUP?

    Ew.

It took me like 2 years to go down there. And I ain't saying I'm proud. And I still don't see what's so good about it... Apart from having a tongue in your ass. NOT SEXUAL AT ALL.

    For me anyways...

The anxiety is far worse than the reality. I am not telling you to go out and throw you legs up for the next guy you meet. But you should go live you life and just be smart. I have a had alot of fun and many men in the last eighteen years and I am still negitive and as healthy as an ox. Protect yourself, get to know him first, and play safe.

Yeah - isn't rimming way higher risk for both parties than oral or even intercourse with a condom? That's the one I'd be worried about.

Rimming you can catch Hepatitis-B. But this is just normal hooking up.
You can't be afraid of everything you do. To catch HIV you really have to have a perfect storm of conditions. It's not like catching a cold.

you can get Hepatitis from oral contact or a soda can, that said rimming carries some risk and should be done with someone you know.

No, saliva isn't HIV affected. From what I remember. That's why there is no risk kissing.

And poo wouldn't be either... since HIV is only passed on through seamen or blood. And poo doesn't reach either of those things :S However if you were licking a tear in the anus it could be bad... I think?

Correct me if I'm wrong because I don't know for sure.

saliva isn't thick enough of a mucus to sustain the virus.
Once it's out of it's environment it actually dies pretty quick from what I've read.

put it this way, you would need an open sore or cute in your mouth PLUS a good amount of semen to get into the wound (which would hurt a lot) to get HIV. dont worry and enjoy that you had youre first time. although you dont want to be randomly hooking up a lot. find a bf or make a close friend whose a fuck buddy too

I just wish they were more creative. If you going to do it, go big. Did they stop teaching creative writing? I weep for the future.

    LOL.

    I smell a troll, but I'll bite.

You sound like you just killed somebody.

Well, maybe you made a bad decision, but you didn't do anything illegal.

That said, you now have to wait a while to get your test results back to be sure you don't have it.

Well, the good news is the risk is low, but you should get tested just to be sure.

Now move on with your life, relax, and in case you didn't get infected, don't do it again.
