Anybody ever been, once or many times, or have a friend who's gone?
A friend in Cincinatti thinks it is great, but I have read some baaad stuff on the 'Net about their initiation weekend and subsequent practices.
The local group had an open meeting last week and I went. Innocent enough, but "I have a very uneasy feeling about this, Chewy!" icon_eek.gif

I have no experience with New Warriors Training, but it is often compared to seminars by the Sterling Institute of Relationship. Sterling was hugely popular where I live, back in the 90s, and it turned some sweet gentle guys into raging macho assholes. If NWT is anything like Sterling, you might want to avoid it.

I have gone through it. It is an excellent program, and have met a great group of guys through it. Like any organization, not everyone always gets along, but one of the main focuses is on accepting ourselves and each-other. The men in my group were the first group of straight men I came out to and they were very accepting and loving. It was an excellent experience.

I just read the wiki page about the sterling group. It doesn't really sound much like the mankind project at all.
