In case you needed another reason to mistrust meteorologists, thank Brett Cummins.

Brett Cummins, 33, a weatherman for KARK in Arkansas, woke up Monday morning in a hot tub next to a dead man wearing a dog collar.

On Sunday night,Cummins and his friend Dexter Paul Williams, age 24, had drunk and snorted illegal narcotics at the home of another friend, Chris Barbour, age 36.

Around 10 p.m., Cummins and Williams moved into the hot tub, where Barbour joined them later; they continued drinking until Barbour retired for the night around 11, falling asleep on his couch in the living room.

Around 8 a.m. Monday, Barbour awoke to Cummins' snoring and discovered his two guests -- but no water -- in the hot tub, he told police.

"Dexter's head was lying behind Brett's left shoulder," Barbour told police, according to the report. "After Brett awoke they discovered that Dexter was not conscious and his face was a different color. Brett screamed and became ill and left the bathroom and vomited on the carpet in the living room," Barbour told police, according to the report.

KARK briefly reported on the tragedy:

"Our Meteorologist Brett Cummins was at the home at the time of the death and we felt we should share this with our viewers. Brett will not be on the air as he is mourning the loss of his friend. Our thoughts go out to the family and friends of Dexter Williams."

In a statement, Williams's family said: "Dex had a very loving but trusting heart. Anyone who knew him would agree that he was easily influenced."

They also said he's not a suspect in the other man's death- there was blood in the empty drained hot tub??? Blood from which man???

Either way that won't look good on his resume'.

WOW! That dude is in the "dog house" now (or rather he should be for obvious reasons) and he didn't even get a bone. I suppose very dog does have it's day.

Death is always a sad thing. I feel sorry for the 24 year-old.

But the reaction to Cummins's conduct is strange: He gets drunk and smokes ILLEGAL NARCOTICS. But all he gets from in the story--and on this website--is a pat on the back. icon_rolleyes.gif

One more thing: I just read the news article. The authorities said they are unaware of what drugs were consumed. HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE????? It sounds as if they don't care to find out what drugs were consumed. WHY IS THAT??

I had to look to see if it was my ex-Air Force buddy's house!

    Thankfully, no. Not this time.

Poor guy - I do feel for him.

And all the self righteous cunts who are crowing about gays not showing restraint when they weigh 300lb and are addicted to coffee can go fuck themselves.

I know. These things are always used as examples of the alleged degeneracy of the "gay lifestyle."

He would look cute in a collar, LOL.

All kidding aside, I feel bad for him. That sort of partying usually usually indicates other, larger issues.
