so im reading "understanding human communication" for speech class,

and its discussing how we think to ourselves,

sometimes we think VERBALLY, like when where thinking we hear WORDS in our head,

and sometimes we think VISUALLY, for example picturing ourselves doing something we like (sex for example)

and the way we think as we approach communicating another person, affects it immensely!

imagine approaching a guy u think is hot, you are probably thinking of him VISUALLY, as opposed to a teacher, who you are thinking WORDS about what you want to discuss with him!

try it out right now ull see, icon_biggrin.gif

    the human mind is UNBELIEVABLE.

heres 2 qoutes i found inspiring in there as well

"people who need people, arent the luckiest people in the world, they are the ONLY people."

"Are we smart or stupid, attractive
or ugly, skillful or inept? The answers to these questions don’t come
from looking in the mirror. We decide who we are based on how others react
    to us."

Visual thinking is actually more fundamental than verbal thinking considering you learn words to associate with objects but your brain automatically learns a visual representation without necessarily any teaching. For example, as a baby you'll recognize your mother's face before you know how to say "mom."

On a similar note, a lot of times when people meditate with the purpose is to think "blank" in means turning off all thought processes involving words. It's a very difficult task.

I think of someone being hot if it's in both ways. Hence, Bill. icon_wink.gif
