Haha. It is a hypocrites' roll call (but respect to those guys who are now advocating gay rights).

A real treasure house of hypocrites! Their stories to 'explain' the situations they`d found in the most amusing of all!

Wasn't this tactic considered, like, totally uncool when it was used to make that college kid kill himself last year?

Uh, you mean the kid who was flme,d on webcam, having sex, without his consent, and was mocked

No, I don't think that is similar to men who put themselves into the public eye, as being homophobic, and being called out when they have gay sex, or post on gay sex sites.

    I don
't see the similarity really, other than someone being called on being gay. But the background is totally different.

Wow. All of them Republican. I'm sure most, if not all, of the reverends are Republicans as well. What a group of dysfunctional people make up the GOP.

    Oh, bite me.

How many Republican office-holders can you fit into a closet?

    All of them, apparently.

I'll take that as affirming my comment.

If there are any democrats are out there who are legislating or speaking out against gay rights , then are found to be big mo's themselves, then yes...it too is hilarious.

I just don't get pleasure from ruining peoples' lives....it's weird. It doesn't matter what they have done to me, I just don't take pleasure in tormenting others.

There is a difference, On one hand you are taking an innocent, closeted gay teen and exposing a sex tape of him and another man. That is horrible, as he has done nothing to deserve that.

On the other, you are taking a homophobic senator who has advocated for inequality, exposing him for his hypocrisy, and making him face a decision: Grow up and admit he was wrong, or hide under lies and cowardice.

You're making a completely false equivalency between young, scared teenagers and grown men who wield power and choose to live a lie while actively harming others like themselves.

I think people's sex lives are their own business right up until they start fucking with other peoples.

I see an obvious equivalency. I think the "un-closeting" thing is wrong and inhuman- no matter who does it, nor to whom it's done. That's just my opinion.

Obviously, I disagree with people who advocate against gay rights. But, two wrongs don't make a right.

Hmm I understand where the dude above is coming from. However I do see the website as very pro-active in challenging homophobia so I'm all for it - there should be a British version set up!!!!

um, the uncloseting has already been done by the media on these public figures. How else can we know about the hypocrisy?

An analogous site would detail which politicians argue for the sanctity of marriage and yet are divorced and the number of times they are divorced.

Nothing wrong with outing homophobic bigots. No difference from killing someone in self-defense.

All bets are off when, with deliberate hypocrisy and cruelty, a public figure abuses his position and power to actively to harm others, spread hatred of gays, and advocate for inequality. In that case, you deserve everything that's coming to you.

No valid comparison with outing and bullying innocent gay teens, who are themselves harmed by hatred of these the homophobic hypocrites.

I don't believe in murder. But I'll be damned if I let you shoot me or my loved ones point blank in the face without a fight. Don't want to be killed? Don't try to kill me. Don't want to be outed as gay? Then stop actively trying to hurt gays. I don't believe in outing, but if you want to deny me basic human rights then I will do everything I can to make your life miserable first. And I'm not the least bit sorry about it.
