Got something heavy on your mind that you would like to share? You are not alone. Tell me what the issue is and I will try to make you feel better. It can be something trivial, something heavy. I am not a shrink, doc, or anything other than me. These are my opinions and I would like to help if I can.

If you need some advice I am all ears. Please only ask questions here in the forum, not to my personal email....so others may benefit from knowing your situation or answer shared.

What is going on with you?

EDIT: I cannot be online all the time...but if you post something legit I will try to respond icon_smile.gif. This thread has been hijacked a couple of times and trolls have done there best to derail. However, given the day that I started it I didn't feel like giving in!

If you want to just see the questions and answers and avoid the bullshit...you can look for the posts I add- which will include the question and the answer...and avoid the rest.

    Have a great day.

    How generous of you!

My problem is I won't study. Weak self-will. I can't get myself to stop wasting time.

You'd have to thumb through today's issue to understand. The same long anti-American shower of shit that we have come to expect from that rag.

I understand.... that can be a problem for me sometimes too! What I do usually is think about "breaking down" something that seems daunting into smaller "tasks" and don't make a mountain out of a molehill.

So .... maybe say to yourself...I will devote 20 minutes to study. And then maybe reward yourself with doing something you like..... and so on and so forth.

    Hope that helps. icon_smile.gif

Well what if you just told your roommate that you are sorry? Ask him if you can make it up to him somehow...perhaps doing chores? At the same time it might make you feel good doing things while you are not working.

    Hope that helps icon_smile.gif

Oh, who am I kidding. I think about whether Andy Cohen is single.

I am with you on Andy Cohen! Big surprise! Someone BOTH me and my Jewish mother can agree upon. I read his tweets and I don't really hear of anyone super special in his life..he goes to the Hamptons most weekends though.....

Just seems to be a genuine guy and very happy for his success!

theantijock saidI just did a mercy killing 20 minutes ago. I unknowingly ran over an Eastern Indigo snake with the lawn tractor. I felt terrible when I noticed it, the poor thing was writhing and damaged beyond repair. So I went over him again with the lawn mover and when the tractor was directly above him I lowered the blades to the ground, ending his suffering.

One day I will no longer have a lawn mower but there's so much property here that it will take me a while to convert it into a jungle. I did walk the property before mowing, looking for anything the mower might hit. I don't know if I missed him or if he came in between my checking and getting on the tractor.

He's the second one I've seen on the property so I'm glad to know they are in the area and will be more careful until I finish treeing in the place with just paths and a few clearings as I like to do. The Eastern Indigo is a protected species and easily domesticated though they can only be owned with a license. They are very beautiful (if you like snakes) and I feel terrible about what I did as a consequence of modern living.

PS, OP's pic looks like Discovery Cove? I thought it was going to be hokey but I went anyway to meet family there and turns out I love that place. Looking foward to going again.

Yes fellow "Discovery Cover" I can see why you feel bad...but what good is beating yourself up going to do? Nothing. You did not do it on purpose and you obviously have a good heart.

Enjoy life you are a good person!

Unemployed? You have time. Do something good for someone else as you pursue work. You will feel good about yourself...and you will be doing something good for others.

It is not too late! While others are drinking supposed sports beverages before tennis matches in the heat....I drink v-8 juice. It helps me retain water and I don't cramp up and can usually out last my opponents.

You certainly don't look like you need advice when it comes to fitness but you can get a great deal on v-8 juice at Costco..... don't get the low sodium (unless you have to!) that defeats the purpose.

That is a tough one. But lucky you. You had 14 years of good times with your beloved pet. That is more than others have. Enjoy the memories.

Baldone you might not like my answer here.
Take charge! Who is in charge here? Weight gain due to extreme stress in your life? Social life blamed on your son? Your son sponging off of you?

Who is steering the ship here? Look I am not trying to simplify your situation but overall..... I think you can get the message here. Break the pattern.

The entire world outside of your country agrees that your country sucks. Being patriotic in the US is basically a sign of retardation.

Were there rules set in your relationship with each other? If so, and he stepped out of bounds it is on him to work his way back to you....don't you think?

If there were not clearly defined rules....then who is to blame here?
