Southbeach is back!. Same screen name although it looks like his profile was deleted.

Welcome back. I think you're responsible for the most views for any one thread.

And I bet the cash register rang for PPC for RJ with the number of views in that thread.

I guess it's the old adage - we want what we can't have.

    Hmmm. His profile says RIP

Now when He had spoken these things, while they watched, He was taken up, and a cloud received Him out of their sight. And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as He went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel, who also said, "Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven."
    —Acts 1:9-11

Oh god no, this is good news! --for YOU! icon_biggrin.gif

That's a fake profile. When people get reinstated (like Anduru and Chuckystud) they come back with all of their posts and full profile intact. I could see our little pouty golden boy deleting his profile pics and 'about me' as some sort of snub to all of us, but there's no way he's gone back and deleted thousands and thousands of individual posts as well as defriended all of this buddies.

Someone is playing with you and has simply reregistered the name. Considering the two other examples given, and the majority consensus of this thread, it seems likely that SB will be reinstated. And when he is, it won't be a prob for admin to correct the acct names.

It just hasn't happened...yet. But I'm pretty confident it will. Not so confident he'll behave, lol.

Ok interesting. I would think they would block the screen name so it couldn't be used again.

It was actually quite nice not having him here, and I don't think many people really wanted him back. It was more of disagreeing with the banishment policy in general. It's not right to ban people just because you think they're a self loathing worthless douche bag with nothing to offer but predictable Obama bashing vitriol. icon_lol.gif So welcome back fucktard! icon_lol.gif

I don't think notoriety = contribution (in any meaningful sense)

So it’s the old correlation versus causation debate?

Nope, I just never ever found the former member's input to be of any use or worthwhile content. Troll-like in perpetually inciting reactions, dodging answering questions about his statements, and so on, while falsely maintaining his "innocence" of attacks, name calling, provocations, etc..

As a poster mentioned above, it was a spoof account.

It also may have been The Reaper striking again, impersonating profiles to post his spam vids.

Despite some statements made by some to the contrary, he often posted from very mainstream media outlets, such as Associated Press. I assume the articles from AP are not worthwhile to you and others here, but many think differently.

I read most of them and once in a while he came up with one that I didn't find myself. I personally had no issue with it.

Don't assume in my case, please. And since I had him on "ignore" for quite a while, he may have actually linked to a "mainstream media" article and I missed that, but mostly he posted personal opinions and didn't back them up. The exception(s) prove the rule, really.

I was only assuming based on what you said. The point came up in another thread a couple of days ago, and I found with one exception, all his posts within a couple day period based on very mainstream media outlets, specifically Miami Herald, AP, LA Times, NY Times.

Don't fret; he's back, just another screen name. Be sure to tell him how much you love him.
