Sore sore hole

Apologies for the subject title, but really need all the advice I can get here.

So I don't bottom very often. Had sex last Monday night (eight days ago) and it was pretty rough (not good). Didn't feel anything afterwards, though was surprised not to have had a bowel movement at all the following day, then my stool the day after that had a red layer of blood on one side.

Forgot all about it, had regular, blood-free movements... Then had a stomach bug and diarrhoea over the weekend meaning regular bowel movements (sorry for the details) so when my hole felt a little sore by Sunday I put it down to that. But yesterday my stomach was fine but passing stool was a little sharp/painful, and today wiping was very painful, so it seems things are only getting worse. If I purposefully contract the anal muscles I can feel the sharpness a little. Notably, though, there is no blood on the stool.

Is this just normal (seeing as I am not used to bottoming) or does it sound like there could be some more serious damage - hemorrhoids, fissures, something else? I've done the Google searching but it would be great to get some story-specific info - the absense of blood seems to be the difference in my case. Thanks to anyone who can help...

Btw, just to ease my paranoia... The upset stomach was very out of the blue... Not in any related to the sex though surely? Any thoughts?

Sounds like it's just been irritated by the rough sex and diarrhoea combo.

Just eat plenty of fibre and drink lots of water and if it still doesn't feel right after a week, go to the doc.

You guys have got to start using lube and know when to say NO.
Good advice on the fiber and water and don't spend a lot of time on the toilet. Straining or sitting like that isn't good if you are damaged.

I take it by the comment above you did not use a condom? Also, did you use lube? And did you give yourself an enema before sex?

Just thought I'd come back here and thank the guys who replied. All is well now, but I was really surprised by how long it took to recover (about a week after). I dreaded taking a dump, and I'm pretty regular. Lol.

Oh no, of course there was a condom. I'm just really paranoid about butt sex generally. icon_lol.gif

Paranoia does not keep us safe. Clear, level headed thinking does.

    Wow. Aren't you insightful.

Using a condom = safer sex. A condom does not equal safe sex.

It's perfectly normal to be wary of anal sex even if all possible precautions are taken. There's still a risk. I will always be mindful of that risk.

I used a condom and am not frivolous enough to think that that alone will guarantee me against protection. If you really get off on being all preachy, maybe it would be put to better use on those who are actually out there engaging in genuinely risky behavior.

Kegel exercises might help strengthen and prepare you for next time. It's the muscle you use to stop urinating. So basically, pull your butthole in, hold it and then let go. Repeat and it'll get easier...Google is your friend.

Lube agreed... like Wet's platinum premium lube... don't bottom either although had the best fuck and double O 2 nites ago with a 10 incher! didnt feel a bad thing... so either the lube worked, he was an expert, or both. Has me reconsidering a 4th time, but only with him!
