I don't know why some men don't shave their armpit before having sex! or showing off their armpit hair in profile photos! this is just disgusting!

This is also just your opinion. I think armpit hair is sexy on a guy and wouldnt screw someone who shaved it off.

Do you mean shave smooth or trim shorter? I would never shave (the hair actually provides dry lubrication for the skin of your armpit, helps prevent skin rash), but some men with very long hair like me may want to trim it back a little.

Mine almost never stops growing, like the hair on my head. For me the signal to trim is when I'm wearing a T-shirt, raise my arms, and the hair is hanging out the sleeves. I think that looks very unattractive. icon_razz.gif

Does the amount (or the lack of) underarm hair actually make a difference in unpleasant body odour? I'm curious to find out about this icon_smile.gif

Im no expert but I do know that body odor is related to the bacteria that grows there. The hair may add a heat element to it though.

I don't understand why some guys shave their chest but not their armpit hair...is there some taboo against that I don't know about. I trim my chest and armpit hair with clippers.

    examples I found

    6050394065_890fc6f2e2_z.jpg

seriously if you're gonna do your chest you might as well do your armpits too.icon_rolleyes.gif

Disagree completely. No armpit hair looks very very unnatural.

Everyone has it, just keep it it is manly.

Trimming yes (mine gets way out of control) but shave off? Thats a no no.

For some reason armpit hair looks good with a goatee, and if they are toned.

Problem is I am not talking about attraction here, but more of admiration.

Sometimes what I am attracted to in a guy and what I admire are different.

Same rule as with the groin, if it's trimmed and there isn't a palm tree growing out of it, it's not so bad.

it is not any more unnatural than having no chest hair

and trimming it with clippers only leaves a little bit hair there so it looks almost the same as shaved.

I trim my underarm hairs and shower frequently, so I wouldn't know much of a real difference.

My theory is that for some people, the thought of having underarm hair has a psychological effect in that it reminds them of other areas of the body which often produces such smells (explaining their negative reaction to unseen body hair) - agree or disagree?

Yes because no one ever has a naturally smooth chest with armpit hair, yet there are people past puberty who have no armpit hair.

You are a ginger. I need a magnifying glass to see your armpit hair.

But I agree the shaving chest and not pits doesn't seem right. Now if they have odd hair patterns on their chest I could see losing it might be better than nipple lashes.

The first guy in the pic needs to get his under control cuz its growing out everywhere.. The second guy I don't mind so much because its just dark but not long..

I nair my armpit hair once in awhile when it gets to long. I can't save it or trim it cuz it irritates my skin there..

Its also about preference too. Some like armpit hair and some don't..

Depends on the guy but I generally don't like caveman like armpit hair lol. Mine doesnt grow too obnoxiously but I trim it with a body grooming every so often bc it tends to keep it more dry and smelling fresh (with deodorant obviously lol)

I thought swimmers, gymnasts, and bodybuilders shaved their armpit hair for sport... didn't realize we were supposed to do it for aesthetics. Is it a Kuwati thing?

PS... Check it out, you can see my armpit hair in all of my pics icon_lol.gif

I love hairy armpits, it's a fetish I have, they turn me on!! but I do shave mine, I hate hair on me, I love hair on other guys, is this weird? I'm very shallow when it comes to my body/face but I love hairy men with hairy backs and everything hahaha
